Audience
With a worldwide reach, BYU Television seeks to bring high-quality programming to viewers across the globe. Available through direct satellite broadcast services (e.g., Dish and DirecTV), cable carriers, internet streaming, and the Church satellite system, the channel spans the world.
The signal is currently available to more than 40 million homes in the United States alone. BYU Broadcasting is working to add additional cable carriers across the United States. The channel can also be found on the Dish Network and DirecTV satellite services.
While KBYU-TV in Utah broadcasts PBS programming, BYU Television brings content from Brigham Young University and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to a global audience.
The intended audience of BYU Television is alumni and friends of BYU, Church members, and others who are interested in the beliefs and values of the Church and its educational institutions.

The content carried on BYU Television comes primarily from campuses of Brigham Young University (BYU-Provo, BYU-Idaho, and BYU-Hawaii) and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Additional content is provided by independent producers and Bonneville International (including KSL Television and Bonneville Communications).
